Backcountry Herbs (We, Us, Our) values its user’s privacy and protecting your private information is a priority. This Privacy Policy Agreement (the Policy) will help you understand how We collect and use personal information from visitors and customers to www.backcountryherbs.net (the Website) which is an
E-commerce application based in the State of Idaho and not doing business outside of the United States.  By using the Backcountry Herbs application, you consent to the data collection practices described in this statement.

Information We Gather and How It’s Used
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, We may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

If you purchase Backcountry Herbs products and services, We collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

We use third-party social media features including Facebook.  These may collect your IP address and require cookies to work properly.  These services are governed by the Privacy Policy of their providers and are not within Our control.

However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to Us when you elect to use certain products or services. Right to Deletion

•     Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.

•     Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law;
•     Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act -
This act is intended to protect the personal information of California residents.  It contains specific requirements that Our small business does not meet at this time.  In the event that OUR status changes, We will abide by the relevant portions of this Act.  If you are a resident of California, you have the right to request disclosure of the personal information We have collected about you and to opt-out of any marketing messages.  For questions regarding the use of your personal information, please refer to the section above marked “Information We Gather and How it’s Used”;
•     Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when Our deletion of the information is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of such research, provided We have obtained your informed consent;
•     Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with Us;

•     Otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.

Children Under Thirteen
We DO NOT knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application. Our Website is intended for use by adults. 

We DO NOT knowingly sell products to children under the age of eighteen (18).  We also DO NOT knowingly distribute such information to third parties OR publicly distribute identifiable contact information through the Website.  If it is determined that such information has been inadvertently collected on anyone under the age of 18, We shall delete that information from Our database immediately. 

By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or that you have parental consent. 

E-mail Communications
From time to time, We may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

By using this Website, you hereby accept the terms and conditions stipulated within this Policy.
